Three Geese at Hatherleigh Market

These runner ducks were in a cage in Hatherleigh market in Devon. They reminded me of the Three Graces, composed and beautiful, between them watching the world from every direction. I didn’t know whether to paint the cage or not, but I needed to suggest it as it seemed to explain the context of what they were doing. I do hope they went to a good home.
