Jack in the River

The river was so sparkly, the landscape almost claustrophobic with lush greens, and the arch of trees so close to the water… as a subject for a painting what it needed was a small boy with corn coloured hair to splash in the shadows sitting on the convenient log below….. So I persuaded my grandson Jack to climb down and get in!
