Crabapples in a Trug

These crabapples seemed to come alive in the trug, the bark of the branches being a blue – brown similar in colour to the wood from which the trug was made. The dark twigs waved in all directions, the trug containing them like a boat in the choppy sea created by the folds in the cool white cloth beneath it, the whole being punctuated by the flash of random red berries.
