Orange Tulips in blue Glass Jug

This was a fairly obvious pairing of complementaries with a blue glass jug containing bright orange parrot tulips – but completely joyful nonetheless. There was great movement in the sinewy stems and bright, flamboyant petals of the tulips -I tried to anchor it all with a quiet pile of books and stray paint brushes lying on the table surface
