Orchid in the Kitchen

I wanted to look down on this orchid to be able to convey how amazing and generous it was – such a disproportionate reward for a winters neglect in a tatty summerhouse! I put it on a low table in the kitchen and it seemed to be thrusting out new flowers and shoots as I studied it….
