Papaya and Persimmons

This cloth is the most useful thing I ever bought form ikea! I use it to challenge myself and my students, because the pattern cannot be ignored, yet if the colour values are wrong they will not lie down and be part of a cloth on a receding plane. Add to that a precious Italian plate, given to me by a dear old Australian friend, that also has a definite pattern and lay the solid forms of bright tropical fruit,and you have a challenge, which only succeeds with stringent colour mixing. The prize is the satisfaction of getting it right!
