Pink tipped Roses in a green Glass Jug

The colour of these roses always fascinate me – they are a pinky red and yellow – two primaries juxtaposed – and from a distance they will obey the principles of pointillism and merge. I like playing with this, because looking closely at individual blooms the colour markings are quite distinct, as they mature though they become an array of subtle blends of the two, from pearly apricots to flaming orange.
